Foundations for Ministry Course

The Revd Dr Megan Daffern, Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Vocations, writes on 8 July 2020:
“I am really excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for up to 24 people from our Diocese. A new Foundations for Ministry Course, run in partnership with Eastern Region Ministry course (ERMC), will whet appetites and build confidence for participants to learn more about God, the Christian faith, and the worldwide Church. This could grow into a deeper discipleship, or even the discerning of vocation to different kinds of ministry.
“The course is wide-ranging, open to people of all abilities, including those who may not regard themselves as natural academics. The entry requirements are simply for the candidate and their incumbent to fill in a short form (ticking the box “Foundations for Ministry”) and send it to
“If you know someone who might be interested, they should email with a simple email to request the form. We will prioritise applicants by considering elements of their application which demonstrate how keen, enthusiastic, and committed they are to take up the opportunity. Please send completed application forms for starting in September no later than midday on 17 August. We hope to inform successful candidates within a week of the closing date.”
