Last Sunday marked the beginning of our ‘Giving 2020’ appeal for St Mary’s with presentations at the  8 and 10am services. It is driven by our desire to fulfil the Mission Action Plan which puts our vision for St Mary’s into practical terms. You can see the text of the talk in the notes section for each slide. More details of this can be found in the Giving 2020 leaflet which is on the same page of the church website. Please do look at these resources and consider your giving to the church prayerfully.
 
The suspension of services puts an added pressure on finances since an important part of our giving is from the weekly plate collection. For those of you who use this method of giving can I please urge you to consider enrolling in the Parish Giving Scheme so that your giving can continue even if we are unable to meet. I know that there are others of you who put a little extra in the plate collection even though you are part of the Parish Giving Scheme, since it seems odd to you not to make a weekly offering in church. Please can I urge you to consider increasing your donation through the Parish Giving Scheme again so that the church will remain on a sound financial footing despite everything that is going on. You can increase It simply by giving the Parish Giving Scheme a call on 0333 0021 260 or by writing to the email address above.
