- There are certain legal qualifications that must be abided by if you want to be married at St. Mary’s. You can find out what these are (and just about everything else you need to know about booking a church wedding) from the really brilliant Church of England wedding website CofE Weddings
- The Rector will need to check your nationality at the first meeting, this is usually done by bringing along your full valid passport (the original), if you do not have one, contact the Rector for further guidance.
- At St. Mary’s, we do not have any objection in principle to marrying divorcees. However, each application must be considered individually and an appropriate decision made.
- The cost of a wedding varies as to what you want to have at the service. However, if you were to have a ceremony with an organist and bellringers, you could expect to pay approximately £660 (a detailed breakdown of costs is available on request).
